Game localization roundtable: handouts and videos

Localization World is here! At 9.30 CET Matteo will take the mike at the Game Localization round table. As soon as he ends, we will share our presentation in video format for all those who couldn't see it live. The speech is over!

Here is the PowerPoint without audio.Joe Freelancer VS the Mammoth Game Translation **And here are the videos. Five minutes each. Two notes.

- This is my (Alain) last reharsal recorded two days ago in distant Tokyo, while the conference speech was held by Matteo this morning in Barcelona!
- Sorry for the heavy Italian-Genoese accent, we'll record a better version soon :)

Enjoy!

In the meantime, you can ALSOdownload the handouts for our speech here, or browse the original articles (style guide, PEGI, internal management, terminology, speed and QA)

Hear you soon!

Update : During the speech some questions were made about the security measures of Dropbox. I checked and it's more secure than most current alternatives, as transmissions and files are military-grade encrypted (AES-256) and stored in controlled data centers managed by Amazon.

Alain Dellepiane is the Japan-basedĀ  founder of the team. Currently living in Tokyo, he couldn't attend the conference in person and hasn't been so *anxious about something* since ever. This blog is about the management and linguistic aspects of running GLOC - Game localization 24/7, a small game localization team.
